Euro-Nymphing Guided fly fishing

I didn’t really know what to expect from Euronymphing, since I probably didn’t do as much research as I should’ve done prior to the trip. Needless to say, I now believe that I can catch more fish, Euronymping then with a traditional fly line on most of these small rivers in Utah. Amazing experience. Sang put us onto the fish and we had great success… especially for the first day. My wife and I loved it - and in fact she went again the next week with Sang, this time with my son, it was that good of a trip. And plus he has diet Mountain Dew to boot. Update. Now, 14 months later, we went again with Sang. Once again, he spent all day, taking care of us and putting us on the fish. Even though it’s a little bit more challenging in the fall, we each caught fish into the teens. We absolutely love fishing with Sang!

Always a great time fishing with Sang. This is my third time fishing with him. My husband and I have gone for the last two years and I’ve taken my 15 year old son. He takes the time to help you better your technique and also put you on the fish. He brought lunch and snacks, which was really nice. For a full day fishing. Highly recommend him to any guys and/or ladies, those who are new to and experienced anglers euro-nymphing.

Sang guided me on the Middle Provo and taught me the euro nymphing technique. He was outstanding! He taught me how to read the river and started from the very beginning on all of the ins and outs of euronymphing casting, rigs, flies etc. He is incredibly patient (I am a beginner) and took care of all of my snags in the trees and the river sticks. Routinely he would indicate if I could cast the flies in a certain spot there would be a fish - and sure enough I would pull out a fish exactly were he said it would be. It was the best day of fishing I have ever had and I cannot wait to get back out to work on the skills I learned and catch some more fish. I cannot recommend Sang enough and have already booked my next trip with him.

Amazing day with Sang! Great job teaching me the ins and outs of euro nymphing to where I feel confident enough to read the river and catch fish on my own. He got me into a TON of fish. "try and throw it right there" when I did, I had a fish on time and again! Sang is extremely knowledgeable, but also patient, and he taught effectively to the level that I was at (beginner at this type of fishing). He really cares to make it a world class experience for his client. I did not know him before this, but I left feeling like we were friends and that I can reach out with questions in the future. I would absolutely recommend a day with Sang!

Sang did a great job of teaching me the basics of euro nymphing. I have been fly fishing for most of my life, and he was patient while I learned a new skill. He put me on fish all day. When I caught a handful of big fish, he seemed just as excited as I was. I had a great day and I am looking forward to fishing with him again.

Sang was so patient and so knowledgeable with my 13 year old son when he guided him. His knowledge of the Provo River is unmatched as is his knowledge of euro nymphing. I look forward to many return trips with him. You will not be disappointed in booking a guided fly fishing trip with Sang Kim. The smiles on our faces say it all.

Sang is an extraordinarily great teacher and person. A day on the river with him will carve years off of your learning curve and save you thousands of dollars. He is a master of his craft and works harder for his clients than any other guide I’ve ever used. If you haven’t already booked a day with Sang on the river, do it. You will never regret it. Amazing time fishing!

My son and I have gone fishing with Sang as our guide twice. He is an expert in Euro nymphing. We had a great time both times. Both of us are novices to the technique and he makes it very easy to learn and is able to read the river and put you on fish throughout the day. He is an extremely knowledgeable guide who takes the time to create a great experience for his clients. You can't go wrong by hiring him as your guide. I felt like we were catching fish throughout the day, even when others were struggling. I very much appreciated him taking special care with my son to help him do well and gain confidence in his fishing skills. Sang is top notch, and we are planning on going with him again in the future.
